Bethel Lady Wildcats Win Area, Tip Off At State Today

It was a tough game, but the Lady Wildcats brought home the Area Championship Friday, Mar. 3. Bethel took a 15-5 lead in the first quarter, but Silo was not giving in without a fight.

Bethel High School Sweeps Districts

Bethel Lady Wildcats had plenty to celebrate Friday, Feb. 17, as they cruised to a 62-24 District Championship against the Okmulgee Lady Bulldogs.Lady Wildcat sophomore Josie Megehee led the charge with 23 points and joined the 1,000-point club in the process.

Savages Come Up Short In Title Game

Tecumseh’s round ballers fought hard last Friday night in the District title game as they hosted a Crossings Christian team with a record of 18-2 but came up short in the end and dropped to the Consolation Regional Bracket beginning today (Thursday).

Lady Savages Headed To Playoffs

The 16th ranked Tecumseh Lady Savages are 18-5 on the season and are headed to the playoffs with a three-game win streak and winners of 11 of their last 13. The T-Town Ladies will begin the playoffs by hosting Districts tomorrow (Friday) as they face Crossings Christian (10-10).

Turnovers Plagued Savages

Basketball Homecoming is a big deal on a high school campus and sometimes can lead to lethargy on the floor for the home team. Homecoming, and having to play the early game of the night, could have been problematic early for Savages last Friday night as Tecumseh hosted Bethel on the big night.

Lady Savages Lose The Homecoming Game To Bethel

Last Friday night was a big night in Tecumseh with a queen being crowned and a big game between a couple of cross county rivals. The Savage Homecoming went off without a hitch, and the basketball was exciting the rest of the night.
