THS Grapplers Host Shawnee

The Savage Wrestlers finished off the regular dual season last Thursday with Senior Night, as they welcomed Shawnee to T-Town. A number of forfeits by the Savages and a good Wolves team led to a 55-20 loss for Tecumseh. At 106, Shawnee’s Blayne Taber pinned Vivian Hayes in 56 seconds.

Tecumseh Wrestlers Bring Home More Hardware

The Savages and Lady Savages continue to grow and improve over the season and bring home hardware. The Savages went to compete in the Western Conference last Friday and Saturday and came back with an eighth place team finish with four individuals placing. JD Sigman claimed first at 144 pounds.

Stucker Gym Improvements Announced April 4th

The Stucker Wrestling Complex, at Shawnee High School, is on its way to getting a new and improved floor for its basketball court, after the Shawnee Board of Education approved the upgrade during its April 4 meeting. The current floor is made of concrete covered in an epoxy overlay, said Dr.

THS Wrestlers Hit The New Year Hard

The Tecumseh Savage wrestlers were busy last week with two home dual matches and a tournament. The short-handed Savages gave up eight forfeits on Tuesday night against Perkins-Tryon and fell 57-16 on the home mat.
