County Approves ARPA Funds For Sheriff’s Forensic Lab

The Sheriff’s Office will be expanding the forensic lab. During the meeting held Monday, Jan. 9, the Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners approved the purchase of equipment and software using $212,000 from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.

Approval was made Monday, Jan. 9 at the Bethel School Board meeting on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the school district and CREOKS Health Services.

OK Freewheel Is Coming To Tecumseh

The City of Tecumseh and the Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce will host the OK Freewheel 2023 event, held in the Slick Humphrey Park on Tuesday, June 13, and Wednesday, June 14. The event is projected to host over 350 bikers in Tecumseh.
