FFA Chapter Updates Bethel Board On Activities

Three Bethel FFA Officers opened the monthly Bethel Board of Education meeting Monday evening. Chapter President Nate Stevenson, Secretary Colton Campbell, and Sentinal Remington Boone lead the flag salute and then spoke to the board about all things FFA.

Bice Introduces Workforce Legislation

Washington, D.C. – Early in September Representatives Stephanie Bice (R-OK-05) and Donald Norcross (D-NJ-01) introduced H.R. 5105, the National Defense Workforce Opportunity Act, and a corresponding amendment to the FY22 National Defense Authorization Act.

County Approves Benefit Increase For Employees

Budgets and benefits were the main topics of discussion during Monday’s weekly meeting of the Pottawatomie County Commissioners. Commissioner Melissa Dennis said the total proposed budget is $6,889,002.26, which is up about $707,000.

FOI Student Essay Contest Deadline is Oct. 22

OKLAHOMA CITY – Cash prizes are available for students who enter and win the Zach Taylor First Amendment Essay Contest, sponsored annually by Freedom of Information Oklahoma. Sign Up For Bison Stampede 5K And Fun Run
