Don’t Wait. Vaccinate Campaign Extended

The Avedis Foundation has extended its schedule and locations through mid-November for a mobile Covid-19 Vaccination Clinic to provide free Covid-19 vaccinations and flu shots.

County Approves Purchase of New DataScout OneMap Software

The purchase of a new mapping software from DataScout One-Map was approved by the Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners at the meeting held Monday, Nov. 1. County Assessor Leona Satterfield said DataScout currently does the assessors’ website.

SRC Holds Shark Tank Presentations

South Rock Creek Schools held their first nine-weeks Shark Tank, presentations back on-October 6th,in the school cafeteria. Shark Tank, is a schoolproject that seventh and eighth grade students participate in as part of their computers plus course.

Two Bethel Cross Country athletes achieved All-State status at Saturday’s state Cross Country meet. Freshman Baylee Tapley capped off her successful freshman year by placing 6th at the state meet with a time of 12:37.

USW Utilities Begins Operation of Tecumseh Treatment Plans

By KENDRA JOHNSON Monday marked the first day of USW Utility Groups new agreement with the City of Tecumseh to operate the City of Tecumseh Wastewater Treatment Plant in the amount of $323,537.16 per year. The group is taking over operation of the plant from the previous agreement holders, VEOLA.
