Assistant Emergency Manager Hired, CAC Update Presented

Auston Colley will step into the roll of Pottawatomie County Assistant Emergency Manager on Monday, Feb. 14. Emergency Manager Chad Larman announced at the Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners meeting Monday, Jan. 31 that Colley had accepted the position.

County Sheriff’s Office Continues Hunt For Suspects

On Jan. 29, an alleged burglary led to a manhunt. “Two individuals were trying to steal the wood burning stove out of a house,” Lieutenant Jared Strand of the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office said. As of Tuesday, Feb. 1, no arrests have been made in the case.
