Nelda Jo Ann Williams passed away on Jan. 22, 2024. Nelda was born Mar. 1, 1943. Nelda spent 30 plus years as owner/operator of The Kneaded Body. She was an army veteran serving her country by way of proudly providing delicious meals three times a day to the men and women stationed at Ft.

Franklin Dewayne Wilson

Franklin Dewayne Wilson, 80, of Shawnee, OK, passed away and went to his heavenly home on January 25th, 2024. Born on April 25, 1943, in Shawnee, he was the son of the late Frank and Lucille Wilson and was preceded in death by his grandson, Tyler “TJ” Wilson.

Jimmie Loyd Sing passed away January 12 after a valiant battle with cancer. Jim was born at home near Macomb, OK to Toby E. and Martha O. (Carpenter) Sing on July 4, 1943, along with his twin brother Jackie Floyd. He graduated from Macomb High School in 1961.

Kara Deann Arnett passed away February 2, 2024. She was born August 10, 1973 in Oklahoma City, OK, to Bobby Desheilds and Venita (Cosper) Spoon. Kara graduated from Tecumseh high school in 1991. She then Attended Platt College to receive her travel agent certification.

Maddix Kade Bias passed away February 3, 2024. He was born July 1, 2005 in Shawnee, OK, to Rusty Bias and Candi (Stokes) Morris. Maddix played baseball during high school and graduated with the class of 2023 at Tecumseh High School.

Ida Kinnamon

Ida Faye Kinnamon passed away on Feb. 1, 2024, at the age of 91. Ida was born on March 2, 1932, in a country farmhouse in Konawa, OK to John A. Elliott and Ruth Ida (Brinlee) Elliott. Mrs. Kinnamon worked at Shawnee Milling Company for ten years and the City of Shawnee for another twenty years.
