Joann Coomer passed away on Dec. 23, 2023. Joann was born Oct. 31, 1938, in Shawnee, OK, to Joel Dixon Jordan and Zuma Pansy Hibbard (Rigdon). She attended Irving Elementary, Shawnee Jr. High, and graduated from Shawnee High School. Joann worked at Tinker Air Force Base from high school until 1973.

Thelbert Robert “Bob” Tomlinson

Bob Tomlinson passed away on Dec. 21, 2023. Bob was born September 23, 1936, in Shawnee, OK, to Jack Samuel Tomlinson and Walsie W. (Jordan) Tomlinson. He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1954. He married Janice “Jan” (Goins) in Texas in 1972.

Dixon Tiger

Dixon Tiger passed away on Dec. 20, 2023. A graveside ceremony was held on Jan. 2, 2023, at the Concho Cemetery in Concho, OK. Dixon was born in Dallas, TX, on Nov. 17, 1962, to Dean and Ruby Tiger. Following his education, Dixon joined the U.S. Army.

Helen June (Wiley) Maston

Helen June (Wiley) Maston passed away Dec. 24, 2023. Helen was born on July 8, 1940, to Clifton and Mamie Wiley in Stigler, OK. She graduated from Stigler High School. She attended Muskogee Vocational School in Muskogee, OK, and obtained her LPN degree. She worked her entire life as a nurse.

Russell Fred Coon

Russell Fred Coon passed away December 14, 2023. Russ was born in Lubbock, TX on October 3, 1963 to Verleand Lynda Coon. In 1972, his family moved to Anadarko, OK where he spent his school years and he met the love of his life, Alana Clark.

Tina Raye Coleman, “Nene” passed away Dec. 12, 2023. Tina was born July 14, 1965 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Royce and Betty (Turner) Grubbs. She graduated from Tecumseh High School with the class of 1983. She worked for State Farm in Oklahoma City for many years.

John Edward Gaines

John Edward Gaines passed away Dec. 18, 2023. John was born on July 9th, 1968 to Silas and Sybil (Whitley) Gaines in Shawnee, OK. He graduated from Shawnee High School in 1986. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Gilbert and Sons trucking for over 15 years.

Zona Jean (Olson) Cockrell passed away Dec. 9, 2023. Zona was born on May 2, 1942 in Liberal, KS to Arthur Olson and Vera (Hecox) Cargill. She grew up in the Liberal, KS and Hooker, OK area and attended public schools in both cities. Zona was married to Charles Cockrell in 1979 in Tishomingo, OK.
