Pottawatomie County has a couple of bona fide All-American girls, and they grappled their way to the NJCAA Women’s National Wrestling Tournament.Tecumseh’s Vivian Hayes and Bethel’s Dixie Holliday both began wrestling for the Savages and Wildcats in their freshmen years.

OBU competes in NCAA Division II Tournament’s Final Four

PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Oklahoma Baptist saw its season come to an end Friday night, falling 98–80 to Gannon in a high-scoring matchup at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in the NCAA Division II Tournament’s Final Four.OBU closed its best-ever D2 campaign with a 31-4 record.

Denton Forsythe has had an eventful senior year at Dale, especially in basketball.Earlier this month, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the OSSAA State Basketball Tournament for scoring the most points.
