OBU Basketball off to a great start

SHAWNEE – No. 19 (NABC) Oklahoma Baptist overwhelmed Newman with a dominant first half and rode that early surge to an 88–75 victory Saturday night inside the Noble Complex. The victory moved the Bison to 6–0 on the season, continuing their best start in the program’s NCAA era.

SSC E-Sports completes inaugural season

Seminole State College’s new esports team has completed its inaugural season in the National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE), highlighted by a playoff run in Overwatch 2 and strong showings in Chess and Mario Kart.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA Division II Selection Committee unveiled the field of 64 teams that earned a spot to compete in this fall’s NCAA Championship beginning Dec. 4.The Oklahoma Baptist Bison, members of the Central Region, earned an 8-seed and will travel to play topseed Nebraska-Kearney.

OBU earns honors

Oklahoma Baptist wide receiver Nick Harris earned All-Great American Conference First Team honors on Wednesday as the league announced its end-of-year awards.Harris is only the sixth Bison wideout to attain top honors and first since Keilahn Harris garnered All-GAC First Team accolades in 2022.
