OBUs Bison Esports Off To A Strong Start

Oklahoma Baptist University’s Bison Esports is off to a successful start as their Smash Bros. team earned second place in the Great American Conference.“We are looking to carry that momentum into our games next semester,” said Glen Simpson, OBU Bison Esports coach.

Little Axe won the season opener, 51-30., but the Savages beat Bethel on Dec. 5, 53-21. The Lady Savage wrestlers will face Harrah today (Dec. 12) at the Alumni Center, beginning with junior high girls and boys at 6 pm. Lady Savages Bounce Back For The Win Against Prague

The Lady Savages started the basketball season on the road against Tuttle and Prague and came home with a split to start 1-1.Tuttle, ranked 8th, was the first destination for Tecumseh and was slow to get started early and then came on in the second half to draw closer.

Earlsboro Takes Second In LRC Tourney

Seminole, OK, Saturday, Dec. 7, 20204 - The Wildcats entered the Little River Conference Tournament at 1-4 on the season as the 3-seat in the tournament and defending champions. The Wildcats quickly dismantled the Moss Pirates in the opening round 77-27.
The Maud Tigers won the consolation round of their OLG Propane 8-Man Basketball Classic, Dec. 5-7. On Dec. 5, they lost to Alex, 45-52, but they won against Maysville, 56-45, on Dec. 6, and they triumphed with Weleetka JV, 50-45, on Dec. 7. The Lady Tigers also competed in the tournament and made the consolation round. They lost to Alex, 19-51; won with Paoli, 53-25; and, fell to Depew, 34-46. Maud hosted seven teams from the area. Two Shawnee Athletes Sign For The Next Chapter

On Nov. 29, Shawnee senior Camden Sateren signed a letter of intent with the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire to play soccer in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC). He is shown with parents Eugene Sateren and Nathan and Heather Ferguson.
