OBUs Bison Esports Off To A Strong Start
In the 138 weight class, Tecumseh’s Tyler Bryant, top, tries to flip his Little Axe opponent during the Dec. 3 home dual. Little Axe won the season opener, 51-30., but the Savages beat Bethel on Dec. 5, 53-21. The Lady Savage wrestlers will face Harrah today (Dec. 12) at the Alumni Center, beginning with junior high girls and boys at 6 pm. Caught In Action - Bethel and Dale Basketball Teams
The Maud Tigers won the consolation round of their OLG Propane 8-Man Basketball Classic, Dec. 5-7. On Dec. 5, they lost to Alex, 45-52, but they won against Maysville, 56-45, on Dec. 6, and they triumphed with Weleetka JV, 50-45, on Dec. 7. The Lady Tigers also competed in the tournament and made the consolation round. They lost to Alex, 19-51; won with Paoli, 53-25; and, fell to Depew, 34-46. Maud hosted seven teams from the area.
