SPS recognizes wrestling and swim

During the March 9 Shawnee Board of Education meeting, two groups of athletes were recognized after returning from state competitions.
The 2026 recipients of the Gordon Richards, Sr. Achievement Award were honored at a dinner held Friday, Feb. 27, just prior to the PCJLS Premium Auction. OBU to Host Summer Nursing Camp July 15-17

High school students exploring a future in nursing will gain hands-on experience this summer at Oklahoma Baptist University’s School of Nursing “Called to Care” Camp, scheduled for July 1517, 2026, on the OBU campus. The camp is open to incoming high school freshmen through seniors.

Tecumseh High School hosts career fair

On Mar. 3, Tecumseh High School hosted their annual career fair. The fair was organized by Quentin Wireman, and led by his leadership class. Wireman’s leadership students (mostly made up of juniors and seniors) were each given a group of juniors to take on a career tour.
