Sheriff discusses new vehicles, programs, policies, and protocols with Commissioners

During the Feb. 18 Pottawatomie County Commissioners meeting, Sheriff Freeland Wood and Sheriff ’s Deputy, Capt. Jared Strain presented information about new protocols, training, and a maintenance plan to help extend the life of current and future department vehicles.

PCDA Board approves sponsorship donation for PCJLS

At the Feb. 13 meeting of the Pottawatomie County Development Authority (PCDA), it was reported by Wes Watkins Project Manager Steve Shultz that he is working to get authorization from the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to restore 150 acres to how it looked 100 years ago.
