There are two things that occur every day at the Golden Age Center before a meal.First, we stand at attention as we pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. We are honored to be American citizens who participate in a meal provided for just $1.50 from the government.

With warm weather comes a horrible task. Swimsuit shopping is one of my lifetime top 10 most humiliating actions only second to having my normally quiet child telling the person behind us on the grocery checkout line that his mommy wears really big underwear (using hand gestures). For no reason!

American air travel

Not long ago, flying in the United States symbolized efficiency, civility, and confidence in a system that works. Today, delays, Democratic-driven shutdowns, close calls, and ongoing disruptions have chipped away at the system, making flying more of a hassle and even concerning for some consumers.

CAPITOL COMMENTS

On Memorial Day, we paused to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Across Oklahoma and the United States, flags were flown at half-staff from sunrise until noon, wreaths were laid, and loved ones gathered to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
