Letters To The Editor

I am the product of many years of formal training. Certainly, several vocations require such training. This letter is a reflection of the growing awareness that this nation urgently needs an army of career-oriented plumbers, electricians, mechanics, builders, welders, etc.

CAPITOL COMMENTS

Reconciliation is a serious priority of both the White House and Congress this year. It is a legislative package containing numerous provisions championed by President Trump and Congressional Republicans. Despite all the buzz, the term reconciliation is often misunderstood.

Tecumseh Golden Age Center

The members of the Golden Age Center send our congratulations to all the graduating classes especially those from Tecumseh High School. Education has always been an important part of this community which was settled in 1891 in a land run.

Continuing the work

We are continuing our hard work here at the Capitol, and I’m proud of all we’ve accomplished so far this session. It’s been a demanding stretch, with many long nights, but the dedication from lawmakers and staff alike has been remarkable.

Protecting Patients

One of the most meaningful efforts I’ve had the privilege of being part of this session was House Bill 1600, now known as the Lori Brand Patient Bill of Rights. This measure stands as both a major step forward for patient rights in Oklahoma and a deeply personal tribute to a life well-lived.
