Asher Blasts Through Districts

The Asher Indians sailed through district play, outscoring their opponents 53-3 in three games. In game one on Thursday, Sept. 21, the Indians put away the Wanette Tigers in under three innings.

Bethel Beats Little Axe, District Play Begins Tomorrow

The Bethel gridiron team took an early lead in the game against the Little Axe Indians last Thursday night (Sept. 14) and held the Indians scoreless until the fourth quarter. For the sixth year in a row, every year since Coach Joey Ginn became head coach, Bethel got the win, 37-8.

Tecumseh Lady Savages Win Three Out Of Three Last Week

The Lady Savages had a comparatively slow schedule last week with just three games and three wins after the game against Mannford was postponed due to rain on Monday. On Tuesday, Tecumseh traveled to Cushing and came away with a 16-2 blowout.

Penalties Continue To Hurt The Shawnee Wolves

Penalties and a tough opponent kept the Shawnee Wolves from bringing home the win Friday. Shawnee put the first points on the board when junior quarterback Jamir Owens sailed a 34-yard pass to senior wide receiver Delmone Miller.

Tecumseh Struggles Through First Half Against McLoud

It was a tale of two halves last Friday night in McLoud. Tecumseh was sluggish and struggled in the first half against the homestanding Redskins. The Savages just couldn’t get out of their own way in the first two quarters and were lucky to be down by only a point at halftime, 7-6.

OBU Lady Bison Soccer Picks Up A Big Win At UCO
