Tecumseh Gridiron Squad Beat Seminole 28-24

It was a fun night in Seminole last Friday for the Tecumseh gridiron squad as the Savages got a big lead, let it shrink, and then pushed the lead back up as the T-Town boys finished off the Chieftains. The Savages took the field with confidence and promptly took advantage of the Chieftains.

Young Savages Open Season Against Talented Perkins-Tryon

Opening week of football wasn’t an easy one nor a kind one for the Tecumseh Savages. The youthful team had to face a top five team as they hosted a talented Perkins-Tryon team, and the Demons were devilish all night long.

Wolves Suffer Hard Fought Double Overtime Loss

It was a hard fought double overtime 28-25 loss for the Shawnee Wolves in the season opener on Friday, Sept. 1, against Seminole at Oklahoma Baptist University’s Crain Field. The Wolves were the first to score a touchdown, courtesy of Jamar Owens, followed by a successful field goal by Rhett Neese.

Bethel Has Two Big Wins Before A Shut Out At Dale

The Bethel Lady Wildcats added two Ws to the win column in near shutout games before crossing I40 and being shut down by the Dale Lady Pirates. On Monday, Aug. 28, Alexis Williams drove in five runs on three hits to lead Bethel past the Community Christian Royals, 15-1.

Wildcats Take A Hard First Game Loss, Now Focused On McLoud

The Bethel Wildcats Football team took an early lead against the Classen SAS Northeast Comets but couldn’t hold onto it, losing to the Comets 22-28. “Classen is probably one of the most athletic teams we’ll play all year,” said Coach Joey Ginn.

In Potawatomi culture, water is regarded as a powerful, life sustaining force that should be cared for and highly regarded. August is National Water Quality Month, and the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Department of Environmental Protection began water quality testing across Tribal land in 2008.
