Oklahoma High School Baseball Coach Hall-of-Famer Jeff Shafer is returning home to lead the Shawnee High School baseball team, the Shawnee Board of Education announced at a special board meeting today.

The University of Central Oklahoma’s Department of Modern Languages, in collaboration with the Citizen Potawatomi Nation (CPN), will offer its first online Potawatomi language course in the 2023 fall semester.

It’s been a good start for the Lady Savage Fast Pitch team. The T-Town ladies have started the season with a 6-1 record, with their only loss to 6A Edmond Santa Fe.
