Tecumseh Fast Pitch is low on players this season, but the team has five outstanding seniors that will have the proper mindset and leadership for this squad.I had the opportunity to interview the Senior Five in the softball press box and talked about the coming season.

Experienced leaders anchor Lady Savages

Coach Chad Trahan is beginning his 21st year as the head coach for Tecumseh’s Fast Pitch team. Trahan’s teams have built a program, with 10 State Tournaments under his belt, and have brought four State Championship Finals and five State Semifinals.

Champions crowned at the 34th Annual IFYR

SHAWNEE, Okla. - More than 1,000 youth rodeo athletes took center stage this week at the 34th Annual International Finals Youth Rodeo (IFYR) in Shawnee, Oklahoma, competing for championships and a share of more than $277,740 in prize money.
Dally Trussell of McLoud got his steer wrestled in 6.6 seconds during the IFYR championship round on the evening of July 17. Trussell took seventh place in the the event.
