Glenda Jean Clinkenbeard

Glenda Jean Clinkenbeard died Monday evening, April 4, 2022 at 8:30 pm with her daughter at her bedside. Glenda Jean (Jeanie) Clinkenbeard was born Aug. 2, 1928 to Oliver Mitchell and Myrtle Mae (Oliver) Bonner at Byars, OK and lived there until 1942 where she finished the 8th grade.

Danny Joe Gordon

Danny Joe Gordon, 68, died April 7, 2022 in Shawnee, OK. He was the son of Uvone (Golden) Gordon and John B. Gordon. He was born in Fairland, OK, on Nov. 28, 1953. Danny grew up in the Midwest City, OK community and graduated from Midwest City High School with the class of 1972.

Tim Melton

Tim Melton, 59, of Tecumseh, OK, died April 5, 2022 in Shawnee. He was born March 18, 1963 to Billy Gene and Oleta (Naylor) Melton in Oklahoma City, OK. Tim was raised in McLoud, OK and attended McLoud Public Schools with the class of 1982.

Sylvia Sue Boatman

Sylvia Sue Boatman, 73, of Shawnee died Thursday, April 7, 2022 in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 23, 1948. Graveside Services for Sylvia were April 12, 2022, at Fairview Cemetery, under the supervision of Walker Funeral & Cremation Service.

Christopher James McCulloch, Jr.

Christopher James McCulloch died April 6, 2022. Chris was born Feb. 8, 1943, Morristown, NJ to Christopher James McCulloch, Sr. and Kathleen Elizabeth McCulloch.

John Wesley Clark, Jr.

John Wesley Clark, Jr., 78, resident of Shawnee, OK died April 10, 2022. John was born May 8, 1943 in Yuma, AZ to his parents, John Wesley Clark, Sr. and Nellie Jane Bowers. A memorial ceremony will be held 10:00 am, April 21, 2022, at Piedmont Nazarene Church.

Cloyce Wiley

On Tuesday, March 30, 2022, Cloyce Wiley passed away at age 90. Technically, he was one day short of 90, but Cloyce was always an optimist, so we are rounding it up. He was born the last of nine children on a farm in Osage County, KS.

Velta Mae Graybeal died March 29, 2022. Velta was born Dec. 22, 1926 in Maud, OK to Leonard and Mabel (Caudle) Sparkman. Visitation was April Visitation was April 4, 2022 at Resthaven Funeral Home. A private burial will be held for the family.
