SSC Board of Regents pass the gavel

The Seminole State College Board of Regents held their monthly meeting on July 17 in the Enoch Kelly Haney Center Board Room.The meeting began with the swearing-in of two new Regents, Mona Adkisson and Barry Tims. Former District Judge George Butner administered the oath of offi ce.

IFYR Thank You Reception shows appreciation for past and present leadership, volunteers

In the middle of the International Finals Youth Rodeo (IFYR), on Wednesday, July 9, a “Thank You Reception” was held to show appreciation for those who have held the IFYR together for the past 33 years (minus 2020 for COVID) and those who are carrying its tradition forward.
