Pete Reed, Retired Major, OK Army National Guard, made a stop in Tecumseh last week on behalf of the “Season of the Warrior” Campaign Tour. The goal of the campaign is to reach 100 cities in 100 days to raise funds for the Native American Warrior Project.

Voters in Pottawatomie County are reminded to keep the integrity of the election system in mind, when going to the polls next week.

Phillips caught about 150 pounds of catfish for the fund-raiser, which benefitted a new restroom at the Brooksville Cemetery. So far, the framework has been built for the restroom, and Brooksville Mayor Charles Carthen said, in addition to mens' and womens' restrooms, it will have a sitting area.
