Lea D. Rhodd, 38, of Shawnee died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, in an Oklahoma City Hospital. Lea was born July 29, 1983 in Shawnee to Michael Ellis and Connie Rhodd. Tribal services were Jan. 13 at the McKosato home with burial in Wakolee Cemetery.

Delmer Davis Lane, 93, born July 19, 1928, of Shawnee, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, in a local nursing center. Services were in Walker Funeral Service Chapel on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 with burial following at Dale Cemetery.

Wanda June (Robinson) Hill

Wanda June (Robinson) Hill, 78, of Shawnee, OK, died Jan. 1, 2022. Wanda was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Dallas, TX, to Joseph Cecil Robinson and Dessie Mae Morton Robinson. Wanda married Arnold Ralph Hill on Dec. 1, 1961. Wanda and Ralph were members of Trinity Baptist Church for 57 years.

Wanda Lee (Cole, Myers) Brown

Wanda Lee (Cole, Myers) Brown, 97, died Jan. 2, 2022. She was born to Hester and John Cole in Shawnee on Oct. 21, 1924. She attended and graduated from Shawnee High. She married Billy Jack Myers, Sr. after high school and moved to Texas where their children were born.

Thomas James Monroe

Thomas James Monroe, 87, of Tecumseh, OK died on Jan. 4, 2022. He was born Sept. 16, 1934, in Collinsville, OK, to Charles Robert and Hilda Pauline (Prigmore) Monroe. Tom was the Chief Boiler Inspector for the State of Oklahoma from Feb. 1, 1971, through June 30, 1999, before his first retirement.

Muriel Alice Wakolee

Muriel Alice Wakolee, 74, of Shawnee, OK died Jan. 4, 2022. Muriel was born to Evelyn (Brave) Haney and Rudolf Lefthand on March 4, 1947, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was raised by her other father, Norman Haney, Sr. She was the oldest of four children.

James Travis Holley, Sr., 91, of Shawnee, OK, died Jan. 6, 2022, in Shawnee. He was born Jan. 26, 1930, to George and Lillian (Burkhalter) Holley in Durant, OK. He met his future wife, Rose Zella Holley in NM, and they were married on March 25, 1951 in Carlsbad, NM.

Joseph “Joe” Wayne Lowry, 78, died Jan. 6, 2022, at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. He was born on March 9, 1943, in Portland, OR, to the late William Marvin and Hazel Lowry. Joe was a member of First Baptist Church in Pinehurst.
