Thomas “Dale” Owen passed away Jan. 12th, 2026. Dale was born in Oklahoma City to Thomas Deyo and Esther Ruth Owen. He attended schools in El Reno, Midwest City and Oklahoma City. After high school he attended a year at Bethany Nazarene College.He married Jackie, on April 17, 1966 in Oklahoma City.

Sally Maria Baca “Nanny”, age 85, passed away on Jan. 7, 2026. Sally was born on March 29, 1940, to Ruben and Antonieta Garcia in Rocky Ford, CO. After graduating high school, Sally met her husband, Julian Baca, and they wed in 1958. Sally and her family relocated from Denver to Belen in 1978.

Linda Gambrell

Linda Gambrell passed away Jan. 5th, 2026. Linda was born Nov. 16th, 1946, in Shawnee, OK to Walter and Chubby Washburn. She married Charles Gambrell on Nov. 22nd, 1963. Linda worked in retail sales and provided care for special needs individuals and the elderly for many years in the home.

Lula “Johnnie Mae” Bettelyoun, age 90, passed away Jan. 3, 2026. Johnnie Mae was born May 16, 1935, at home in Little Axe, OK, to Charley Herbert and Catherine (Longman) Masquat.

Marie Templeton

Marie Laverne Templeton, 92, passed away on Dec. 31, 2025. Laverne was born on July 15, 1933, in Vanzant, OK, to Doy Roscoe Seaton and Gladys May (Sikes) Seaton. She graduated from Crooked Oaks High School. On Nov. 5, 1954, she married Bobby Joe Templeton.

Janie Marie Brown

Janie Marie Brown passed away in Shawnee, OK on Jan. 1, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born April 18, 1935, in Dale, OK to Paul Fay and Minnie Thompson. Janie graduated from Dale High School in 1953. She married Frank Brown in Shawnee on Dec. 23, 1957.

Leta Mae Adams, 97, of Tecumseh, OK passed away Jan. 2, 2026 in Oklahoma City. Services will be 2:30 pm, Jan. 9, 2026 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

Joseph Edward Dolin, Jr

Joseph “Joe” Edward Dolin, Jr. passed away on Dec. 31, 2025. Joe was born on Mar. 2, 1945 in Shawnee, OK, to Joseph E. Dolin, Sr. and Evelyn (Zahasky) Dolin. He attended St. Benedict Catholic School before graduating from St. Gregory High School.

Johnny Franklin Keesee, born Nov. 14, 1936, to Faye and Moyse Keesee in Wanette, OK passed away Dec. 30, 2025, following a brief illness.Johnny lived most of his life in the Wanette community. He attended East Central College for three years following high school graduation in 1955.
