The North Rock Creek Lady Cougars won the Ripley Gold bracket. The final game ended at 1:15 am Sunday. It was close, but North Rock Creek's Morgan Campbell slides in safe at home.

Lady Savages Explode To A 15-1 Win Over Perkins-Tryon

In the Countywide’s Lady Savage Fast Pitch preview last week, Coach Chad Trahan said his team had a good offensive summer and thought his team would be a good hitting team. Well, early results show that to be true as Tecumseh has definitely begun the season with explosive bats.

Annual Signing Held Aug. 1 For Incoming Bethel Freshmen

Nine eighth-grade standouts have signed to play football at Bethel High School, Head Coach, Joey Ginn announced Tuesday, Aug. 1. These young men, along with a few more in their class, will make us better both this year and in years to come.

McLoud Senior Wins Bull Riding at IFYR, Plans to Make it a Career

Ryker Butler of McLoud is the 2023 Bull Riding Champion of the 31st Annual International Finals Youth Rodeo.  After a “no score” in his first round, Butler received an 84 in his second round and an 83.5 in the final round for a combined average of 167.5 to win the event on July 14.
