Big 12 Power Rankings For 2023

After a good time issuing our “top 13 presidential athletes,” we are pleased to offer our one and only Big 12 football power ranking of 2023. The Big 12 has become too large to evaluate the weekly progress of each team as in the past. So, here is where we see the Big 12 this fall.

Bethel Boasts A 5-1 Record For The Week

The Bethel Lady Wildcats outscored their opponents 32-21 in six games played last week. The team added five wins to its record before falling to Latta on Saturday. On Monday, Aug. 21, Bethel outscored Crossings Christian Lady Knights, 7-5.

One month ago, Bethel senior Brooklyn Duff and her father, Patrick Duff, were traveling through Italy.  Brooklyn was there to play softball with one of two American Based Sports Abroad (ABSA) USA teams.

Tecumseh Volleyball opened the season last week with an impressive come from behind home win over El Reno. The Lady Savages were down two sets to one in a best 2-of-3 match. El Reno claimed an tight 26-24 first set win and then won the second 25-20 to put the TTown ladies on their heels.

The Dale Dynasty Began With Coach Gary Washburn

The sweltering heat did not stop members of the 1975 and 1979 Dale Baseball State Champions from gathering to be recognized and honor their coach, Gary Washburn. You cannot hear the words Dale High School without thinking of baseball, basketball, or softball championship games.

A Successful Week On the Diamond For the Lady Savages

Last week was a busy one and a successful one for Lady Savage Fast Pitch. Tecumseh went undefeated on the week at 6-0 and earned the Sulphur Tournament Championship.

Asher Finishes Week With A Win

On August 15th, the Indians faced off against the Roff Tigers in a hard-fought game. Neither team scored until the fifth inning, when Parker Wood walked to first base and then advanced to 2nd on a single by Bryce Lamb. Jordyn Litson made a sacrifice but reached first on an error by Roff pitcher.
