Dale Pirates Win 22nd State Baseball Championship, Forsythe Coaches Three Sons At State

The Dale Pirates Baseball Team is living up to its tradition. On Sat., Oct. 8, the eighth-ranked Pirates played the Class A State Championship against top-ranked Silo. Held at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in OKC, the final game was a victorious 18-11.

Lady Savages Begin State Play

The Lady Savages are Regional Champions and again headed to the 4A Fast Pitch State Tournament. Tecumseh needed one more game than they hoped as the “if necessary” game became necessary with a loss to Newcastle in the first title game.
On Oct. 7, the Tecumseh High School cheerleaders performed with their junior cheerleaders. The junior cheerleaders ranged from pre-k all the way to sixth grade. They learned cheers and a dance during “kids clinic.” Payton Worley and all of the THS Cheerleaders helped in coaching the kids. Countywide & Sun/Natasha Dunagan

An Exciting Home Game For The Savages Ends With A Win

It was about as exciting as a football game can get last Friday night in Tecumseh. Maybe more exciting than was necessary in a game full of mistakes and questionable flags and big penalties.

Bethel Takes A Loss From Chandler

Bethel led Class 2A’s #2 ranked Chandler Lions, 15-12, with four and half minutes left before intermission. Running back John Allred, along with the offensive line, led by CJ Compton, Alex Tollett, and Ben Martin, refused to bow down to the Lions.
