After Two Overtimes, Bethel Beats Kellyville 55-47

The Wildcats won their first road game of the season last Friday night at Kellyville in a double-overtime thriller, 55-47. Something seemed strange as the game began. Maybe it was the diagonal shadow the press box cast across the northwest to southeast field.

Lady Savages Take On 6A Teams, Warming Up For Regionals

After clinching a District 4A-2 Championship on Monday the 27th at home against Byng (see last Thursday’s Countywide and Sun) and the right to host the Regional Tournament, the Lady Savages had three warm up games for the playoffs facing some good teams.

THS Lady Savages Defeat Northwest Classen, Season Record of 21-11

Tecumseh Volleyball finished the season with Senior Night last Thursday and got stronger during the evening to defeat Northwest Classen in three straight sets, 25-21, 25-18 and 25-8. The Lady Savages ended the regular season with a record of 21-11.

Wildcats Host Chandler

Chandler (4-1, 2-0 District 2A-2), ranked #3 in Class 2A, will travel to Bethel (3-2, 1-1) tomorrow night for a 7 pm kickoff. Series History: Chandler leads, 4-2. First Meeting: 1992 It seems the Lions and the Wildcats are placed in the same district once a decade.

Lady Wildcats Head To Regionals

The 21-14 (6-6 in district) Bethel Wildcat softball team is headed to the postseason for the third year in a row, this time focused on making the state tournament. “Our goal is to do everything possible to earn a trip to the state tournament,” said head coach Tara Satterfield.
