Shawnee JV Boys Volleyball Win State

It was a dog-eat-dog match as the Shawnee Wolves faced the Edmond North Huskies for the Oklahoma Boys Volleyball Association (OKBVA) State High School JV Championship. Held at Union Freshman Academy in Tulsa on Oct. 29-30, Shawnee took state, three sets to one.

Wildcats Celebrate Seniors Before A Loss To Luther

Last Friday was Senior Night for the Bethel Wildcats. As the parents, players, and managers all lined up for the celebration, the Bethel coaches seemed to be celebrating something else. Luther’s dominant wide receiver, Quintin Richardson, was not suited up.

Savage Runners End A Great Cross Country Season At State

A successful Cross Country season culminated in a trip to the State Meet for the Savage team and a couple of Lady Savages making it to the big state. The Tecumseh boys squad finished 3rd in last week’s Regional Meet held at Waurika on Saturday, Oct 22.

SSC Soccer Wins Fourth Consecutive Regional II Title

The Seminole State College women’s soccer team won their fourth consecutive NJCAA Regional II title Saturday, Oct. 29. The Trojans defeated Northern Oklahoma College 5-2 in championship game at the Advance Soccer Complex in Enid. SSC will face Laramie Community College Saturday morning, Nov.

Action On The Field Not Reflected In Score

Bethel fans were treated to arguably the most amazing high school campus in the state of Oklahoma last Friday night at Crossings Christian. Five bucks to park for all vehicles, and that’s before the gate. Try that at a public school.

Tecumseh High School Cross Country Team Is Meet Champions, Twice

Tecumseh Cross Country is running wild and bringing home a load of hardware. The Savage boys team have been Meet Champions in the last two meets at the Velma-Alma Meet and the Rock Creek Invitational at the Chickasaw National Recreational Area in Sulphur.
