Four OBU Golfers named WGCA All-American Scholars

SHAWNEE – Four Oklahoma Baptist student-athletes – Gimena Errecart, Marta Romero Crespo, Rylie Spaulding and Sam Lehr - were honored as Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars on Monday.OBU’s total of four surpasses the previous two seasons which brought three award-winners.
The Potawatomi Fire Team, along with Citizen Potawatomi Nation Chairman John 'Rocky' Barrett, The Basketball League CEO Evelyn Magley (back to camera) and Lillie Mae Greer (hidden by her daughter), celebrate their Three-Peat by lifting 'The Lillie' TBL 2025 Champion trophy high, amid confetti on June 23 at FireLake Arena. Potawatomi Fire win TBL Championship, Again

SHAWNEE, OK – The Potawatomi Fire are TBL Champions once again!The Fire clinched their third consecutive title on Monday night, beating the Capital Seahawks 105-91. The Fire are now TBL’s only three-time champ and have won all three titles in back-to-back fashion.

Tecumseh has another Hall of Famer. Lady Savage Fast Pitch Head Coach Chad Trahan was inducted into the Hall of Fame by the Oklahoma High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association last week.

SHAWNEE, OK – There was no dramatic comeback needed on Sunday night as the Potawatomi Fire rolled to a Game 2 victory 131-113, sweeping the Great Falls Electric and advancing to The Basketball League Championship series for the third consecutive season.

Former Dale Coach to be inducted into Oklahoma Coaches Hall of Fame

On July 26 at 6:30 pm, former Dale Coach Harold Jones will be one of 13 people inducted into the Oklahoma Coaches Hall of Fame during the OCA Coaches Clinic and All-State Week, held at the Southern Hills Marriott Hotel in Tulsa, according to an OCA press release.

Seminole State College will launch a new esports program in Fall 2025, combining competitive gaming with academic coursework designed to support career pathways in esports and digital media.Scholarship opportunities will be available to students who join the Esports team.
