Lady Savages Work Through Loser’s Bracket To Win Regionals, Then State

After years of close calls, the Tecumseh Lady Savages are STATE CHAMPIONS!!On Tuesday at the Hall Of Fame Stadium in OKC, the Lady Savages accomplished something that only one other Tecumseh team has done, and that was 30 years ago.

Savage Hardballers End Season In Districts

The Savage hard-ballers ended their season last week in the District Tournament but battled enough to win two games in the tourney before the host team Hilldale finished off the boys from T-Town.Tecumseh opened the tournament against Hilldale and quickly fell into the loser’s bracket in a 10-0 loss.

Lady Savages Claim District With Three Straight Wins

The Lady Savage Slow Pitch squad claimed a District Championship last Wednesday with three straight wins.After Blanchard runruled Crooked Oak in the opening game of the District Tournament, the Lady Savages sent Crooked Oak home in a 15-0 threeinning run-rule win.

Savages Celebrate Senior Night With Win Over Prague

Last week was a winning one for Savage Baseball, with a 3-1 record. Tecumseh opened the week with a come-from-behind win on Monday. After being down 5-0, the Savages came all the way back to take a walk-off 6-5 win in the bottom of the seventh over Cleveland (See the story in last week’s Countywide.

Fire Remains Undefeated As They Cruise Past Little Rock

Perfection continued for the Fire on Friday as they beat the Little Rock Lightning 125-105 to move to 11-0. The win was also the Fire’s 29th straight win at home inside FireLake Arena.The Fire came out strong, leading Little Rock 42-23 after the first quarter and then 69-44 at halftime.

Lady Indians Secure District Title with Double Victory

The Asher Lady Indians played two games and won both, securing the District title. In the first game, they held the Paden Lady Pirates scoreless in the top of the first inning and then scored four runs in the bottom of the inning.
