McLoud Hosts State 3D Tournament, Places Second As Team

On Sat., March 2, McLoud High School was the destination for 26 school archery teams, including 413 archers in fourth through 12th grade.

Young Lady Wolves Tennis Team Shows Determination

“The Shawnee Lady Wolves commenced their 2024 season yesterday (March 1) at the Carl Albert Tournament held at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center,” reported Shawnee High School Head Girls Tennis Coach John Stobbe.

OBU Wins One, Loses One Against Norwestern OK State

Oklahoma Baptist (11-7, 4-5 GAC) defeated Northwestern Oklahoma State (13-6, 5-4 GAC) 17-4 in the first contest on Saturday, Mar. 2, before the Rangers clinched the series with a 12-8 result in the rubber game at Bobby Cox Field.
Two members of the North Rock Creek girls Powerlifting team went to State competition. Molly Campbell qualified with a fourth place finish in the 150-weight class and Elektra Coughran received an at- large bid in the 125-weight class.

Culwell Joins 1,000-Pound Club

Asher Public Schools added a new sport last year, and it has doubled in size and success this year.The Powerlifting Team has grown from three boys and two girls last year to 10 boys and six girls this year. They have also added a junior high team, which has four boys and one girl so far.
