Fire Sweeps Central Conference Final

As game two of the Central Conference Finals progressed on a rollercoaster of momentum, and the opportunity to finish off the defending champion Shreveport Mavericks was going up and down, it was the top guys for the Potawatomi Fire who stepped up, just as they have all season long.

Bethel Sophomore Overcomes Injury, Wins State In Track

Baylee Tapley’s sophomore year at Bethel was one for the record books. Most recently, Tapley became state champion in the Class 3A 3,200-meter race, with a time of 12:38.86.

“We talk about Love and Respect,” Tecumseh Slow Pitch Head Coach Perry Wilson said when talking about his players. “We talk about Love for the game and Respect for each other and Respect for our opponents.” Coach Wilson has recently been selected for the Oklahoma Slow Pitch Coaches Hall of Fame.

The Central Conference regular season champion Potawatomi Fire rolled to victory over the Little Rock Lightning, 133-100, behind a record-setting barrage from outside and behind the reigning TBL MVP Deshawn Munson.
