South Rock Creek School fourth-grade students use upper and lower body strength in the tug o' war during the Kiwanis Club's Little Olympics on March 12. The event was held at the Tecumseh High School track this year, due to tornado damage at Shawnee High School's Jim Thorpe Stadium. Assistant Scorekeeper Erika Jones said there has only been one other time in Little Olympic's 90 years that it was held at a different location, and that was at OBU. Countywide & Sun/Natasha Dunagan

Bethel senior Kloee Nichols was chosen as one of two seniors from the eastern half of the state for the Class 3A All-State Team. She was selected after playing in the Class 3A State Tournament at Lake Murray, May 3-4, where she shot a 94 and 89. Bethel Girls Golf Coach Tommy Block said Nichols has only played golf for two years and will compete in the All-State Games in July at Tulsa. Photo provided.
