Helen Marie (Guthrie) Lewis, 90, passed away April 24, 2025. She was born Oct. 22, 1934 in Konawa, OK to Victoria and Farris Guthrie. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1953 and went to work for the JC Penny company. One year later she married Bernard Bedford Lewis, Jr., on Nov. 5, 1954.

Weldon Ray Pendergrass passed away April 24, 2025. Ray was born to Jim and Mary Pendergrass in Nashville, TN in 1947. He graduated from Hazel Green High School in 1965 and went on to attend Lipscomb University.

Becky Lynn (Little Thunder) Gibson passed away on April 16, 2025. She was born in Shawnee, OK, on Dec. 30, 1980. Becky kicked off her career in the casino industry in 2000, starting as a waitress at Thunderbird Casino.

Thomas Edie

Thomas “Tom” David Edie passed away on April 18, 2025. Tom born on May 3, 1943, in Oakland, IA to Charles and Jeanne Edie. Tom graduated from Liberal High School in 1961. Shortly after, he enlisted in the United States Navy, proudly serving his country from July 1961 to July 1965.

Leroy Dewayne Batt passed away April 18, 2025. Leroy was born Aug. 8, 1941 in Shawnee, OK to Amos Augustas and Helen Francis (Smith) Batt. He attended Bethel Schools. Leroy married Dorothy Sue Leyerly in TX. He worked as a carpenter for the Methvin Brothers for over 50 years.
