Lady Savages Running Hot, Coach Trahan Honored

The Lady Savages are running hot as they finish the fastpitch season. As of Monday, the T-Town ladies have won 10 in a row and claimed the District 4A-2 Championship and secured the right to host next week’s Regional Tournament.

Savages Suffer A Tough Loss Against Newcastle

It was a tough loss with a deceiving final score for the Tecumseh Savages last Friday night in the District 4A-2 opener. After a real battle for three quarters, the Savages trailed Newcastle 14-7 headed to the fourth quarter when the game fell apart, and Tecumseh fell 35-7.

Its A Blowout Win For THS

For the second week in a row, the Savages picked up another blowout win on the gridiron. Tecumseh hosted cross-county rival McLoud for Homecoming and pretty much had its way with the visiting Redskins in a 40-12 win.

City Approves Cost Of Living Increase

Tecumseh city officials approved every item on their agenda on Tuesday, Sept. 6, including a 3% cost of living pay increase for the City Manager, City Attorney and City Judge. All other city employees were given a 3% pay increase in August.

THS Cheerleaders Host 2nd Annual Car Show

Start your engines! There was a big crowd Saturday, Aug. 27, at the 2nd Annual Car Show in Tecumseh, held by its very own cheerleaders. With a whopping 112 entries, the cheerleaders stayed busy. The show consists of people showing their cars, including engine, interior, and all.

Tecumseh Fishing Team Places 6th At TBF Jr. World

Maddox Dickson and Madden Ray McKiddy will enter Tecumseh High School this year with a big fish story to tell. Both 14-year-olds can say they were the only fishing team from Oklahoma to compete in The Bass Federation Junior World Championships, July 27-29.
