Early Voting Begins Today, Multiple Races Across The County

Early voting begins today for voters in Pottawatomie County. Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day have the option of voting early at the County Election Board. Pottawatomie County Election Board Secretary, Patricia Carter, said early voting is open to all voters.

UPDATE: The suspect is in custody, the victim is in stable condition. Tecumseh Police Chief J.R. Kidney said the shooting happened at about 6:30 pm. He also said he has been advised the victim is in stable condition.

Three County Ag Students Awarded OYE Scholarships

Three Agriculture students from Pottawatomie County were awarded scholarships in February through the 2023 Oklahoma Youth Expo (OYE). Dale senior Morley Griffith was chosen for the Diamond Hats - Marilyn Harrel Scholarship in the amount of $5,000.
