Bethel 4-H Club member Jessilynn Kuchynka has been fishing since she was five years old. She learned from her “Papa” Jay Madden to fish with lures and with live bait.

Tecumseh Firefighter Organizes Hay Convoy

Early on the morning of March 9, a convoy of semis and trucks with gooseneck trailers, all loaded with hay bales, rolled out of the Grand Casino Hotel and Resort parking lot.

A new group, filled with familiar faces, will run the McLoud Farmers Market this year.During the special meeting held Feb. 29, the Board of McLoud City Commission heard presentations from the two groups vying for the opportunity to run the Farmers Market.

Seminole State College recently received a community health grant from SSM Health St. Anthony – Shawnee in the amount of $10,000. The grant will be used to continue offering free mental health counseling to students through the College’s Help Center.
