Native Language Event To Be Held At Seminole State College

Seminole State College will host “Native American Language in the Workplace: A Roundtable Discussion” on March 26 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Jeff Johnston Fine Arts Auditorium. The event is sponsored by SSC’s Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) federal grant program.

SSC Board of Regents Ratifies Name of Trojan Baseball Field

The Seminole State College Board of Regents approved a resolution to support the current law regarding firearm restrictions on college campuses and ratified the naming of the Trojan home baseball field at their meeting on Feb. 15.

Gordon Richards, Sr. Achievement Awards Presented

Eight young women and men are this year’s recipients of the Gordon Richards, Sr. Achievement Award sponsored by the Clinic Pharmacy. Tim and Jamie Barrick are owners of the pharmacy.This is the 79th year for the award that was originated in 1946 by the late Gordon Richards, Sr.

Oklahomans who want to change party affiliation can do so, but need to be aware that the change will not take place until September 1st, Pottawatomie County Election Board Secretary Patricia Carter said today. Voters may change their party affiliation online using the OK Voter Portal at oklahoma.
