Dr. Bob Evans, DVM, grew up on a farm in Perkins and helped to work land in Lincoln County. His father was a vocational agriculture teacher, and his mother was a teacher, as well.

Four Shawnee High School seniors have earned the Oklahoma Seal of Biliteracy. Christian Chanel Morales earned the highest honor, the Platinum Level Seal (Advanced Low) in Spanish and English.

Voter Registration Deadline Is May 19

Friday, May 19th, 2023, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the June 13, 2023 Special City of Shawnee Election and Special County Commissioner District #2 Election, Pottawatomie County Election Board Secretary Patricia Carter said today.

Volunteer Clinic Is Family Time for Stewarts

The Volunteer Health Clinic of Pottawatomie County may be a place where families can find health care every Thursday evening, 5:30 to 7 pm, at the Pott. Co. Health Department. But it is also a place where at least one family comes to volunteer.

Rob Morris remains banned from physically attending any and all open meetings of the City of Shawnee, and Public Trusts of which the City of Shawnee is the beneficiary, any Committees or Advisory Boards of the City of Shawnee for a period of 65 days.
