Avedis Grants $15,000 To Infant Crisis Services

A $15,000 grant from the Avedis Foundation was given to Infant Crisis Services on Feb. 10. The needs met by the BabyMobile program are the most basic blocks of a family’s foundation—the health and security of their most vulnerable members.

On Sat., March 25, the Roll to Wreaths Riders 4 Vets rolled out of Papa’s Leather Barn, in Bethany, to begin the 200-mile Seventh Annual Ruben Rivers Medal of Honor Ride.

Early Voting Begins Today, Multiple Races Across The County

Early voting begins today for voters in Pottawatomie County. Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day have the option of voting early at the County Election Board. Pottawatomie County Election Board Secretary, Patricia Carter, said early voting is open to all voters.

Three County Ag Students Awarded OYE Scholarships

Three Agriculture students from Pottawatomie County were awarded scholarships in February through the 2023 Oklahoma Youth Expo (OYE). Dale senior Morley Griffith was chosen for the Diamond Hats - Marilyn Harrel Scholarship in the amount of $5,000.
