McLoud Fire Chief Josh Jenkins addresses the City Council with a request to change dispatch services for the Fire Department. Jenkins said the McLoud Police Department is happy with the services they receive from Central Dispatch and will not make the transition. Only the Fire Department will make the move by January 2025.

There were 41 contestants in the Frontier Days Pageant, held in the "New Gym" at Tecumseh Middle School on Sept. 22. The oldest category, Miss Frontier Days, will be crowned before the Frontier Days Parade in front of Tecumseh City Hall at 9:30 am on Sat., Sept. 28. (See full caption below.)
