Tony Allen Kidwell, Sr., aka “The Colonel,” passed away Mar. 7, 2025, in Oklahoma City. He was born in Oklahoma City on Mar. 19, 1957, to Avis and Iva (Jordan) Kidwell, but was a lifelong resident of Tecumseh, OK. Tony owned and operated Tony Kidwell’s Truck and Tractor Service.

YuaVonda Mae Weeks passed away Feb. 20, 2025.She was born Sept. 17, 1953 in Shawnee, OK to Wendell and Edna LaViness. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1971. She attended nursing school at OSU and Seminole Junior College.

Sheila Marie McMunn age 62 passed away Feb. 27, 2025 after a long battle with leukemia. She was born July 26, 1963 to Hershel and Delores McMunn.

Shirley Jean Early-Glover passed away Feb. 25, 2025. She was born May 21, 1946 in Shawnee, OK to William and Ola (Macdonald) Hackett. Shirley graduated from Tecumseh High School, then took vocational ed and received various certificates. She married Robert Lewis Glover Aug. 8, 2011 in Shawnee, OK.

Rita Jean Harris passed away Feb. 22, 2025. Rita was born on Oct. 27,1943 in Shawnee, OK. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1961. On Mar. 9, 1962, she married John Harris at Trinity Baptist Church in Shawnee, Ok. She was the administrator at Sunset Estates Nursing Home in El Reno, OK.

Linda Kay Terry passed away on Mar. 1, 2025, after an unexpected battle with lymphoma.Linda was born on Feb. 21, 1943, to Earl Wayne and Odessa Jean Ellette in Shawnee, OK. She graduated from Okemah High School in 1962.She married Charles Terry on May 15, 1965.

Randy K. Humphrey passed away Mar. 1, 2025.Randy was born on Mar. 16, 1948, in Shawnee, OK, to Fred and Cleta Joy (Fox) Humphrey.He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1965, then from East Central State College in 1970. After college he began teaching at Tecumseh High School.

Thurman Ray Simpson

Thurman Ray Simpson passed away on Feb. 28, 2025.He was born on Dec. 5, 1968, to Rudolph Simpson and Shirley (Spoon) Simpson. Thurman started building powerlines at the age of 16 and continued this line of work for numerous companies until his death. He was an Absentee Tribe member.

William “Neal” Motley passed away on Feb. 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with lewy body dementia.Neal was born in Shawnee, OK, on Aug. 16, 1961, to Jerry Paul and Willis Faye (Parker) Motley. He graduated from Tecumseh Public Schools in 1980.
