THS Football Players Receive All-District Honors

The 2022 season was a tough one for the Tecumseh Savages on the gridiron with plenty of ups and downs and injuries on the team. But, during the challenging season, there were highlights by several players, and they were recently recognized as All-District honorees.

Lady Savages Take Four Wins, Lose To Bethel

Last week for the Lady Savages was hectic but successful right up until they ran into the Bethel Lady Wildcats in the First United Bank Tournament Championship game on Saturday.

Allred And Compton Receive Top Honors

The district 2A-2 football coaches met on Dec. 10 to determine the coveted post-season alldistrict team. Pottawatomie was well-represented, with Bethel and Meeker both being members.

Busy Week Turns Into A Tough Week For The Savages

A busy week for the Savages turned into a tough week on the hardwood which included a missing starter, but the T-Town boys picked up their first win of the season. The full week of play started on Tuesday night when the Savages hosted Ada in their only home game before January.

Local Gymnasts Compete In Norman

It’s a great away to begin their 2022/2023 season, when the gymnasts at Rising Star in Shawnee competed at Bart Conner gymnastics in Norman this past weekend. The boys and girls took the opportunity to show off their skills. The boys started off Friday at the AAU session.
