Lady Savages Open The Season On The Road

It was a tough night in Tuttle as a brutal first half that led to the Lady Savage round ballers dropping a 30-point loss to a very talented Lady Tiger squad. Tecumseh went over 11 minutes without scoring over the end of the first quarter and over half of the second.

Savage wrestling is off and grappling, and this year there are some differences, including a full team of Lady Savage wrestlers competing against other teams of girl wrestlers.

Tough Opening Week For Savages

It was a tough opening week for the Tecumseh Savages on the hardwood against some tough competition. The Savages were on the road last week at Tuttle on Tuesday night and at Prague on Friday night. The Savages had trouble scoring in the first quarter and never really got on track.

OBU Outshoots Norwestern At The Foul Line In Home Opener

Oklahoma Baptist out-shot Northwestern Oklahoma State at the foul line in the GAC home opener at Noble on Saturday. By night’s end, the fouls numbered 46 and the scoreboard read 70-62 Bison. The opening quarter was marked by a strong defensive force from the Rangers who held OBU to a 0-for-4 start.
