Brad Walck Joins The Potawatomi Fire Coaching Staff

Dr. Bradley Walck, a well-known Oklahoma basketball coach, is joining the Potawatomi Fire as assistant coach, the team announced. The Fire, owned by the Citizen Potawatomi Nation (CPN), is a new franchise in The Basketball League (TBL) and will begin play at FireLake Arena in Shawnee in 2022.

Lady Wildcats Open With Two Road Wins

The Bethel Lady Wildcats opened its season Tuesday, Nov. 30, with a 79-49 road win over Harrah. Bethel took the lead in the first quarter, outscoring the Lady Panthers 22-13.

Wildcats The Season With Two Wins In The Books

The Wildcats beat Harrah 63 to 44 on Tuesday and Tecumseh 77-56 on Friday. Although the final score spreads are not that different, the match-up against Tecumseh was a very close the first half. The teams entered the respective locker rooms tied 32-32.

Lady Savages Open Season With A Win At Home

A very young Lady Savages got off to a great start to the season on Tuesday, Nov. 30th as they opened at home against North Rock Creek. The game was tight in the first half as the teams made their way into the first half of play, but Tecumseh took control in the second half for an impressive win.

Tecumseh Grapplers Pick Up Individual Wins

The young Savage wrestlers hit the mat last Thursday at Harrah and picked up some individual wins along the way to a 54-27 dual loss. At 106-pounds, Cole Loudermilk opened with a pin over the Panther wrestler to give the Savages a lead.

Lady Bison Hold Cameron Below Season Average With A 77-67 Win

Mallory Lockhart registered 19 points and the Oklahoma Baptist defense held Cameron, the nation’s 13thbest scoring offense, 16 points below its season average during a 77-67 road win on Saturday. Lockhart was 6-of-8 from the field including 4-of-6 from downtown.
