Bethel Opens Playoff In Lindsey

Bethel picked up the program’s first-ever victory over Purcell while on the road last Friday night, winning 34-13. With the win, the Wildcats (8-2 overall, 5-2 in district play) finished third in District 2A-3 behind Washington (10-0, 7-0) and Community Christian (8-2, 6-1).

Savages Celebrate Senior Night With A 48-8 Win

It’s been a long time coming but after a football season filled with injuries and other issues, the Tecumseh Savages found their way back to the win column. It came in the form of a 48-8 shellacking of Classen SAS last Friday night at home on senior night.

Wildcats Continue A Winning Season

Senior receiver John Gordon set the tone early last Friday night at Lexington with a 66-yard touchdown reception from freshman Bryce Tapley on the game’s first play. After winning the toss and taking the ball, Bethel led 7-0 only sixteen seconds into the contest.

Tecumseh Savages Derailed

It was another Friday night where the Tecumseh Savages played well in a significant part of the game, but turnovers and mistakes derailed the Savages and led to a loss to Harrah.

Bethel XC Qualifies For State

The Bethel girls and boys teams had a great day in the OSSAA Class 3A Southern Regional in Waurika on Saturday. The girls team consisting of Baylee Tapley, Kylie Nunneley, Piper Whitecotton, Brylan Webb, Brooklyn Duff, Paityn Seiger, and Shyla Arnold took 4th place at Regionals.

Six Lady Savages Named To All District Team

After an exciting and successful season for the Lady Savages Fast Pitch team, the accolades are beginning to roll in. The top two teams in the District, Tecumseh, and Perkins, dominated the District 4A-2 All-District Team with 11 of the 23 spots between them.
