Asher girls powerlifters place at State

Asher High School Powerlifter Christine Tubbesing, left, and Asher Junior High Powerlifter Nevaeh Griffin competed at the Oklahoma Girls Powerlifting Coaches Association (OGPCA) South Regionals on Feb. 25 and qualified for the state competition out of 25 girls on their teams.

The Earlsboro Wildcats opened up District play in Sasakwa against Maud with an 80-51 win.The Wildcats ran up against a familiar foe from the Little River Conference in the District Championship against the host, the Sasakwa Vikings.
