The Savage basketball squad has had trouble winning close games this season and finally got two this week, one on the road and another at home.Tecumseh went on the road to 15th-ranked McLoud last week.

Shawnee senior Josie Megehee can check one huge goal off her list. On Jan. 14, she scored her 2,000th career point in basketball.Megehee has consistently added 500 points by this time of year over the past three years. She reached 1,000 points on Feb. 17, 2023, and 1,500 points on Feb.
