Brothers Embrace Rodeo Heritage, Follow Father’s Lead

Rodeo has been a way of life for brothers Hayden Youngblood, 18, and Landen Youngblood, 15.The sons of Ryan and Lindsay Youngblood, their father said they’ve been on a horse since they were in diapers.

32nd IFYR Wraps with Rodeo Champions Riding High

The second round of the International Finals Youth Rodeo kicked off Wednesday, July 10, with stellar runs and rides in Performance 6.In barrel racing, Georgia cowgirl Maddie Gail Carver (Cataula, GA) laid down a lightning-quick run of 16.171 seconds, the fastest time of the rodeo thus far.

Bethel Community Court Receives OKC Thunder Makeover

The Bethel Acres Community Court, located behind the Bethel Acres Fire Department, recently got a facelift.And on July 15, members of the Bethel Board of Trustees, OKC Thunder Cares, OG& E, and several residents gathered at the basketball court to celebrate.

The 32nd IFYR Kicks Off In Shawnee

SHAWNEE, Okla. – On the evening of July 7, 2024, the tight-knit community of Shawnee welcomed over 800 families from across the world to compete under the bright Oklahoma skies as the 32nd edition of the International Finals Youth Rodeo (IFYR) kicked off.

Oklahoma Baptist’s Jill Leslie Finalist For Next Level Athlete of the Year

Rising redshirt junior Jill Leslie, a member of the Oklahoma Baptist volleyball program, was named a finalist for Next Level Athlete of the Year honor as a part of the 2024 Texoma’s Nexstar Sports Awards.Leslie, a 6-foot-2 middle blocker for the Bison, is one of three finalists.
North Rock Creek took on Meeker Tuesday night, June 25, 2024, at NRC. Meeker’s runner stretches to beat the throw to first. The Cougars split with the Bulldogs. NRC varsity won 12-4 and the Bulldogs JV won 9-1.
