Bethel Band Boosters Car Show Attracts Over 100 Entries

The 8th Annual Bethel Band Boosters Car Show Fundraiser was held at Bethel High School on April 13, and there were 136 entries.

Families view projects at the Cross Timbers Elementary Science Fair on March 26. There were 113 fifth-grade science fair projects on display with ribbons and 10 gold medals presented by three volunteer judges.

The final plat for the Blackberry Ridge Addition in District 2 was approved by the Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday, April 16.

Several hangars and airplanes were also damaged. Distributions for repairs from insurance and FEMA are slowly trickling in, said Shawnee City Manager Andrea Weckmueller-Behringer and Assistant City Manager Danny Vise.

As of tomorrow, April 19, Shawnee has been healing from its tornado wounds for one year.
